INC 500|5000 AND OTHER LISTS

A Squared Group has just been named to Inc. Magazine’s 2009 Inc. 500|5000 List. This is the first year that A Squared Group is eligible for consideration; we will be celebrating our 5-year anniversary in February. It’s a great honor to be included in this prestigious list of the fastest-growing, dynamic, independent companies in the United States.

The Inc. 500|5000 List is selected based on established revenue growth, innovation and demonstrated ingenuity. The top 50 companies on the list will be highlighted in the September Issue of Inc. Magazine. All honorees will be feted at the Inc. 500|5000 Conference in Washington, D.C., on September 23-25, 2009.

It seems we’ve never met a list we didn’t like.

Earlier this year, A Squared Group was named to Promo Magazine’s Promo 100 List. The Promo 100 List is comprised of the top 100 promotional and integrated marketing agencies in the country. And Promo Magazine named us one of the 10 Best Overall Creative Agencies, for the second year in a row.

In addition, A Squared Group was once again included on Event Marketer Magazine’s “It” List. This select list highlight the Top 100 American Event Marketing Agencies. A full profile is in the June Issue of Event Marketer Magazine, identifying us as “smart, creative, and hotter than ever.”

We’ve been listed as one of the top 100 agencies in the US. And to really make our day, A2G is also one of the ten agencies chosen for best overall creative among 2008 PRO Award entries. No small feat since there were hundreds of entries this year.

Double Winners at the Ex Awards

A Squared Group took home the Ex Award for Best Pop Up Shop for the Method Detox Your Home campaign. This is the second time we’ve been honored for this program and it means just as much.

We were also honored with a Gold Award in Best Activation of a Cause Sponsorship/Tie-in for The ONE Campus Challenge, a program that inspired college students across the nation to get involved in the fight to end extreme poverty. An astounding 25,000 student took part in this very important call-to-action and made a difference through the 182,000 different acts they took to support the cause. A remarkable campaign and an honor to have conceptualized and executed it.

It’s a joy working on projects that give back to the communities we live. And it’s always a thrill to be honored by our peers. Thank you for the recognition and congratulations to all Ex Award winners and nominees.

The Results Are In…And We Cleaned Up For method!

Thank you, the academy, method, mom...

We attended the Pro Awards at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago last night. Both Melissa and Amy served as judges for this year’s competition, so we were dying to find out which programs would come out on top! We were also ecstatic to be finalists in three categories for our method Detox Seattle program; Best Use of Event Marketing (five or less venues), Best Campaign Targeting a Micro Audience, and Best

Loyalty Program. We’re happy to report that we won third place in the first two categories and are thrilled to have scored the top honor in Best Loyalty Program category! Those of you who have been following the Detox Seattle campaign know that at the heart of this program are method’s amazing word-of-mouth enthusiasts who champion the brand every day. We were honored to meet each and every one of you and we couldn’t have done it without you.

We’re firm believers that the company we keep says a lot about our culture and philosophy. This is true for our employees, clients and even competitors. I know everybody always says this, but it was truly is an honor to be nominated for this year’s awards. The companies and projects we were up against last night represent the most innovative marketing programs from the biggest and best agencies. Projects like the Meow Mix Acatemy, The Gore-Tex Weather Chamber and last night’s big winner, the Simpson’s 7-11/Kwik-e Mart Pop Up are so cool, they help all of us become more dynamic and creative agencies.

Going to the Pro Awards is always a really great time. It’s a fantastic chance to catch up with our peers in the marketing industry and chat with our friends at Promo Magazine. Last night was no exception. Congratulations to all of this year’s winners!

No more looking back–We’re off to the next big thing; A live Oprah taping for the presidential election. Don’t forget to vote!
